FAQ

Q: Why are you called Donut Days BAKERY?
A: Our bakery began as a donut shoppe but quickly involved to a full service bakery.  See our history for more details.

Q: Can I redeem a Donut Days BAKERY gift certificate on-line?
A: No, our gift certificates must be redeemed in store at this time.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Q: Does the bakery make sugar-free, gluten-free or lactose-free baked goods?
A: Since we are an "old school" scratch bake bakery, we do not offer these variations from traditional baking.

Q: Can you make a custom cake and how do I order one?
A: Absolutely! This is what we do best.  Please visit our store or call us at 859-277-9414 to discuss.

Q: Should I refrigerate my cake or cupcakes?
A: No, that will speed drying them out.  We recommend that you wrap the box with plastic wrap and store at room temperature until served.  Note: We do not add preservatives or stabilizers.

Q: How do I cancel my order?
A: To cancel your order, please contact Donut Days BAKERY 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup.

Q: Do any of your products contain nuts?
A: While peanuts and other tree nuts may not be a key ingredient in every one of our baked goods, all of our baked goods are prepared in the same area where products containing various nut items are created.  Though best practices are used in the manufacturing of our baked goods, inadvertent cross-contamination may occur.  Hence, we would rather err on the side of caution and state that traces of nuts are found in all our products.

Q: How long is the shelf life for your donuts?
A: Though we do not carry any donuts over from one day to the next in our bakery, our customers report keeping them for 3-4 days.
